I found my Love at CNA- Haley and Philip

I found my love at CNA, and boy, was it the best thing ever! We both took the Cook program at Burin campus. We are from Gander, but we didn’t know each other before the program. On the first day he looked familiar to me, but I wasn’t sure who he was. I realized shortly after i had graduated with his brother. The second day of classes our campus was in a lock down, and we ended up in the same classroom together. We began talking about mutual interests and a great friendship formed from there! We spent our time outside of school together exploring all the beauty of the Burin Peninsula and inside school having a friendly competition as to who was the better cook. (A battle we still haven’t figured out! ) A couple of months passed by and we found ourselves growing closer. One thing led to another and well, here we are today. Two years later, we’re very happily engaged with a 17-month-old daughter and another little baby on the way. We’re also searching for our first house. We have so much to be thankful for from our schooling in Burin, but each other is definitely the top of that list.
