Homemade Pan Release (Goop)
Equipment
- 1 Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 cup Shortening
- 1 cup Oil
Instructions
- Place all three ingredients in bowl and mix until completely homogeneous and smooth.
- The three ingredients will come together and have the texture of paste/glue.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature. Mixture will be good for several months should it separate while stored just give it a quick mix before next use.
Notes
Using a pastry brush, paint the sides and bottom of your pan with Goop. Be sure to get all areas and corners. This will become one of your most favourite baking hacks.
